Hand doesn't show up when switching from Spectator mode

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Switch to Spectator mode

  2. Go to third person and fly around

  3. Turn back to first person and switch to Creative mode

Observed result:
The hand doesn't show up.

Expected result:
The hand shows up.

Can confirm, however, this doesn't occur all the time and the hand shows up after a second.

I also can confirm. It also seems like switching back to third person then first person will reveal the hand:
