Jumping when falling onto a slime block no longer cancels the bounce effect

When in 1.21.1 and holding down the jump keybind on a slime block you can stop bouncing.

As of 24w33a this is no longer the case.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Fall onto a slimeblock whilst holding down your jump keybind
    → ❌ You keep bouncing

Rather than fixing this specific bug, we've chosen to remove fall damage when sneaking and falling on a Slime block, which is now the intended way to stop bouncing.

@unknown The comments were probably being deleted, because the bug tracker is not really meant for discussing (we have the minecraft feedback discord and site) and it pings people that are following the issues, however then moderators should have warned people about that, so i don't really know. And please in the future write comments and issues in english, so that everyone could understand what you're talking about 🙂 (this is also the reason why your comment got deleted)

This was a bug? I always thought it was an intended feature lol. Honestly I hope it’s added back, there’s no harm caused by it, and it’s actually really helpful for Parkour (A situation in which you wouldn’t want to hit shift as it breaks your momentum.)

Oh wait I see it wasn’t a bug, nevermind I just can’t read. Still hope it’s added back though.
