Can confirm, but this happens with every ride-able entity and not just the happy ghast.

You can confirm this by having a Calibrated Sculk Sensor powered with a signal of 5 (listening to entity dismounting).

Can confirm custom player heads show up as default skins in gui. This seems to only happen when a player head hasn’t been cached in the current session. Once it does get cached and you reload resources it fixes itself.
