Horse Armor doesn't render properly on the horse model in the inventory

Reproduce

  • Tame a horse

  • Place armor on it

  • Move the horse model in the inventory around

Observed Result

The armor wasn't rendering correctly

Expected Result

The armor would render correctly

I can confirm this issue, and it did not occur in Minecraft snapshot 24w35a.

The horse armor is clipping again in 1.21.2 Pre-Release 1 (MC-277420) – it might be linked to MC-276604.
