The Bug
The text in the game pulses between white and blue if it is nighttime and a Wither is nearby, and the player has the Darkness effect. When leaving the game while the text is blue, the blue text will persist across the menus in the game, and will only revert to the white text if the game is restarted, or a different world is logged into.
Steps to Reproduce
Ensure the Darkness Pulsing
slider in Accessibility Settings
is set to 100%
.
Set the time to midnight:
/time set midnight
Summon a Wither:
/summon minecraft:wither
Give yourself the Darkness effect:
/effect give @s minecraft:darkness
❌ Note how the text pulses between blue and white text.
Exit the world while the text is blue.
❌ The main menu's text is all blue. The splash text also looks slightly darker.
Observed Results
While having the Darkness effect at nighttime with a Wither, the text pulses blue. If timed correctly, when exiting the world, the blue text color persists around the game.

Can confirm but the bug only occurs and changes everything to blue text if you quit the world when the "Wither" text in the boss bar is blue right in that moment. If you quit when the text is white, everything is normal.
Also applies for the text in the escape menu, the settings and every UI element of the main menu (Singleplayer, Multiplayer, Realms)
Can confirm.
