[MC-279052] Wither armor is not affected by fog correctly

The bug

The glowing armor around damaged withers does not fade into the fog correctly, remaining visible through it unlike other objects.

How to reproduce

/summon minecraft:wither ~ ~ ~ {NoAI:1b,Health:0.5f}

View it from a distance
Decrease your render distance

Expected results

It would be completely obscured by fog.

Actual results

The surrounding armour remains clearly visible.

I was able to reproduce it, this can be confirmed by a moderator.

The reported behavior was introduced in 24w34a, with a further deviation in 24w37a.
