If you send the signal down a continuous redstone chain by 1 block, the signal does not pass, although the chain is visually unified. If the signal source is from the lower part of the chain, the signal passes
Expected result: the signal goes further along the chain if the signal source is at the top
Actual result: the signal disappears completely

Maybe the glowstone works just like glasses. Since that glasses do not convey redstone signals when the dust goes down, so does the glowstone signal. Then it will be working as intended.
