I encountered a bug when I was trying to prepare something to make on a single player world I was playing on. When I went to open a chest to put my items into so that I could get some more stuff for what I wanted to make, I found that I couldn't actually close the chest, because when I hit the escape key, the chest glitched out and wouldn't close its lid, instantly reopening the lid and leaving me stuck on its GUI, no matter how many times I wanted to hit the escape key to do something else… Basically, I got soft-locked as a result.
Environment
This is on Minecraft Java Edition for the MacBook Air.

I’ve encountered this - it’s almost like sticky keys for me. I get stuck using chests, furnaces, cartography tables and then I realised whenever I’m holding something interactive like torches or bread (when my hunger is low) it uses it too. Mine’s definitely a sticky keys situation but I don’t have this problem in the latest release.
