Game freezes some times when pausing the game with Esc or opening command blocks in single player. When it freezes the minecraft window sometimes will look normal (shows the pause menu) but clicking anything does not work, or sometimes it will show the (unresponsive) text in the window title bar. It happens more often in worlds with stuff going on in them.
It’s been happen ever since around 1.21.8 snapshots and is still happening in 1.21.11. It does not happen in 1.21.4 or lower versions. It might have to do with changes in 1.21.5 java.

Having the Minecraft Launcher’s Log turned on doesn’t show anything problematic but the saving DIM stuff (see image).

Have you installed the latest graphics drivers?
Have you tried reinstalling launcher and Minecraft Game? (Remember to create a backup files)
If you are using any add-ons or resource packs, could you provide a complete list of them?
Could you please include details about your device and system (RAM, CPU, GPU spec)?
this is me playing in the snapshot when the mc game froze when i paused the game (through opening command block this time). Sometime i can exit out of the mc window but other times i have to use Task Manager to kill java.
That is strange. Have you tried reinstalling the game? And have you noticed any large and sudden drops in FPS or TPS while playing, or does the game work fine until you pause the world?
There’s no new crash reports there for some reason.
I didn’t do anything to make it crash. Normally I minimize the client (I have the setting for low fps during minimized) and then I come back and it wont maximize again as it’s frozen so I have to exit out of it or use End Task to remove the frozen client.
Please upload a video recording of the issue with the debug screen (F3) enabled and showing the game version. You can record your screen using:
On Windows, the built-in Snipping Tool app (shift+win+S)
On macOS, the the built-in Screenshot app (shift+cmd+5)
Third-party software such as OBS
It is recommended that you trim and/or reduce the quality of your recording so it is under 10MB, as this will make the upload much quicker.
