Local difficulty/ in-game days don't show up in multiplayer servers on the F3 menu

Up until 1.21.1, local difficulty/ in-game days showed up in the f3 menu, but from 1.21.2 onwards they don’t show up, in 1.21.9/1.21.10 they don’t show up even when the option is set to always in the f3 + f6 menu, however, this doesn’t happen in singleplayer, this can be replicated by creating a server and opening the f3 menu in the mentioned versions.

Can confirm, but your modded screenshots are invalid and will be removed.

The lack of this information is probably intended. Players arguably should not care about the number of in-game days that have passed on the server, since it is usually a large number and could be used as a proxy for server uptime. Additionally, given that local difficulty historically displayed inaccurately (MC-230732) or not at all (MC-265425) it would seem that Mojang does not feel it is important for server players to have access to this information, perhaps because local difficulty could be used as a proxy for chunk activity, although this arguably should not apply to server operators. Also, if they were to simply re-add the line, there would be flickering in the debug screen when crossing a chunk border due to MC-299755, which Mojang does not wish to fix.

I can provide vanilla screenshots real quick, and I do think the information should be available for server operators at least, but it is really up to the devs if they want to do that or not

I noticed this too. Seems like we should be able to see them if the menu includes the option. I play on a server by myself, so shouldn’t the owner be able to set it to be viewable or not?

Thank you for your report!
