i got over 100 cats, tried to bring them into my home, and they became enamored with my flooring. I dug up the floor to see if there was a bunny or chicken underneath, as some random loot from those mobs spawned after I slept in a bed. Nothing is underneath the floor besides for more cats. Only a few will follow me outside. This behavior will not stop even if I sit then un-sit them.

Hi, this was in a vanilla singleplayer world on Java 1.21.10. There weren’t any add ons besides for a “low fire” texture pack and a “3d lanterns” texture pack.
A day or two ago I managed to get all of the cats out of my house and they are now sitting on my lawn. When I bring cats back inside, they dash as though untamed and chasing a rabbit or something. To try to recreate it beyond what I've tried you could try to rebuild that corner of my house, then spawn in a a lot of tamed cats (~100) and see if they react the same. Other than that, I wouldn’t know how to recreate it
