Bug is more easily reproduced when travelling at full speed and exiting the boat at shore without slowing down. Happens about 1 out of every 4-5 tries. Boat will disappear, player will clip into it causing super-slow jumpy movement until player is outside the bounds of the invisible boat. Boat reappears when chunk is refreshed by travelling to nether and back or restarting, etc.
Can confirm. Just experienced this while in a mine trying to jump against a block.
I haven't played my minecraft in 3 months 😞
Its clear this bug is definitely not a small or isolated issue. I realize this is not a "support" forum. None the less it is where users can provide information regarding issues and they will inevitably also seek information. Is it too much to as for someone from Mojang to get on this thread and provide some feedback. I'm not talking about a "how to fix", just an acknowledgement of what this issue is and what they know so far and what is being done. I find the silence from them on this thread deafening.
Hi, this was in a vanilla singleplayer world on Java 1.21.10. There weren’t any add ons besides for a “low fire” texture pack and a “3d lanterns” texture pack.
A day or two ago I managed to get all of the cats out of my house and they are now sitting on my lawn. When I bring cats back inside, they dash as though untamed and chasing a rabbit or something. When I break the slab they like, they switch to a different slab. https://medal.tv/games/minecraft/clips/lpToQwO28Ew7eULvO?invite=cr-MSxYRE4sMTgwODkyODA0
When i went into another world, nothing of the sort happens. They dont seem to be attracted to the slabs, tamed or untamed. https://medal.tv/games/minecraft/clips/lpTNam0HbBwJ7bmXI?invite=cr-MSxPaTAsMTgwODkyODA0&v=33
When i duplicated my world, nothing happened again. https://medal.tv/games/minecraft/clips/lpTOyE4s9SZVVFC3n?invite=cr-MSxuNTYsMTgwODkyODA0&v=13
To try to recreate it beyond what I've tried you could try to rebuild that corner of my house, then spawn in a a lot of tamed cats (~100) and see if they react the same. Other than that, I wouldn’t know how to recreate it
