Various translucent geometry is now invisible behind name plates

This behavior was introduced in 26.1-snapshot-10.

Translucent blocks, fluids, and particles, breeze wind, and the outer layer of slimes are invisible behind entities' name plates. This occurs regardless of the "Improved Transparency" setting.
