Entity Models with Translucent Textures are incompatible with Water

There’s an issue with models when it comes to entities.

If a model has a translucent texture, it makes all other translucent textures behind it not render. So water will become invisible behind a see-through veil for example.

This is a huge issue for both Modders and Minecraft devs as it prevents models from fully exploring the use of translucent textures. Slimes have this effect, but it’s barely noticeable due to how shallow the translucency effect is and how deep the green color is. If you up the transparency and make the green lighter it showcases the effect much more clearly.

Imagine a mob that’s meant to have a very see-through texture like thin fog: if it goes in front of water, it becomes very noticeable that this error exists.

Hopefully with vulkan integration this will eventually be fixed, but as of right now it’s a big issue and should be looked into so translucent texture interactions don’t create this kind of error.
