Turkish search in the Creative Inventory does not handle lowercase "i" and uppercase "İ" correctly

Description:
When playing Minecraft Java Edition in Turkish, the Creative Inventory search does not correctly match some words because of the difference between the English "i" character and the Turkish "İ" character.

For example, the block/item name "İskele" (Scaffolding in Turkish) cannot be found when typing iskele in the search bar. The item only appears when typing İskele with the Turkish uppercase dotted I character.

The same problem also happens with other words containing Turkish letters, such as "İp". Searching with ip does not always return the expected result, while searching with İp works.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Set Minecraft Java Edition language to Turkish.

  2. Open the Creative Inventory.

  3. Click the search box.

  4. Type iskele using a normal lowercase English "i".

  5. Notice that the "İskele" item does not appear.

  6. Type İskele using the Turkish dotted capital I.

  7. The item appears correctly.

Expected behavior:
The search system should treat uppercase and lowercase versions of Turkish letters correctly. A player should not need to know the exact Unicode character used in the translation to find an item.

Actual behavior:
The search only matches when the exact Turkish character is entered, making normal lowercase searches fail.

Additional information:
This seems to be related to case-insensitive searching not following Turkish locale rules. In Turkish, i and İ are related, but they are different Unicode characters from the English alphabet. The search system appears to handle this as if it was using English letter rules.

This issue makes searching for items in the Turkish language unnecessarily difficult, especially for players who type words normally without thinking about Unicode differences.

(Tested with all mods and mod loaders disabled. The same issue was still observed, confirming that the problem is not caused by third-party modifications.)

Hi,

Thank you for reviewing my report.

I believe this issue may have been misunderstood as a translation problem. The Turkish translation itself is correct and I am not reporting a translation mistake.

The issue is with the Creative Inventory search system. The search does not correctly handle Turkish case-insensitive matching. For example, searching for "iskele" does not find "İskele", while searching with the exact uppercase Turkish character "İskele" works.

This appears to be related to locale-aware string comparison/case folding in the search algorithm rather than the translation data.

Could this be reviewed from the code/search functionality side instead of being redirected as a Crowdin translation issue?

Thank you.
