Knocking a hostile mob into the void does not grant the Monster Hunter advancement

Knocking a hostile mob into the void does not grant the Monster Hunter advancement

Likewise it does not increment the “X killed” statistic

Reproduction Steps:
- Go to the end
- Nametag a hostile mob so it doesn’t despawn during the fall
- Punch it to knock it into the void

Observed Results:
- When the mob dies no advancement is given

Expected Results:
- An advancement would be given and the mob would count as killed in the statistic tab

I don't see how this counts as a feature request? The mob clearly dies as a direct result of player action, similarly to how killing a mob by punching it from a high place so it dies of fall damage works.

Player actions award kills for the next five seconds. I’m assuming this resolution was applied because this report is asking for that time to be increased.

To be clear I simply didn’t know about the five second timeout. Anyways thank you for this comment I was confused why this was a feature request.
