As of 26.3 snapshot 7, the translatable string key.keyboard.right.win says “Right Meta”, whereas key.keyboard.right.windows says “Right Win”. This is confusing and does not need to be the case. The left keys are also affected.
Expected result would be for “Right Meta” to be represented by key.keyboard.right.meta and “Right Win” to be represented by key.keyboard.right.win, and the left versions also set up this way.
You can use commands to see these strings, noting how they map to the inputted translation strings accordingly:
/tellraw @s {"translate":"key.keyboard.right.win"}
/tellraw @s {"translate":"key.keyboard.right.windows"}

These won’t most likely be resolved, or a new string will be introduced but in later future updates.
They cannot remove the .win strings because that’s used in older versions. If they did, versions up to 26.2 would show “key.keyboard.right.win” rather than “Right Meta”
Considering they have to keep the old strings, there’s no reason to add a new .meta because they should keep both .win and .meta both just to have both say “Meta”.
I’ve explained it in more details here: https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC/issues/MC-310595
Maybe it will change later in time, but translators must have some time to update their strings before they can remove them from Crowdin and, subsequently, from the game files.
