Why is this marked as invalid? Similar strings are marked as bug reports, not feature requests.

Is it still marked as unconfirmed or has it already been fixed?

You… just did though? Look right after “OFF” in the disabled row. The second-to-last colored column of pixels (also considering the black outline) doesn't use the darker palette used in the enabled counterpart.

Will be solved before 26.3?

Assuming the Windswept Forest Abandoned Campsite Map’s name was truncated, it would have been 39 characters long. Another fix might be to name those maps Abandoned Windswept Forest Map.

This applies to the resource pack screen as well. I hate that.

Most likely intended but they can give advancements another block, such as the chest, to have all advancements tied to a block. For the gamemode switcher, I’d use something else for creative (a door maybe?), so that they’d be all items.

Custom and legacy, and a bit of common sense. Using an anvil you can rename items up to 30 characters on Bedrock and 50 on Java. Everything over 30 characters should ideally be avoided, otherwise you'd be able to rename a vanilla item while not being able to then give it its original name back.

Waxed Weathered Cut Copper Stairs is 35 characters long and it's already over the Bedrock limit, in Italian it's 38 (Statua di golem di rame corroso cerato), in Brazilian Portuguese it's 45 (Estátua de Golem de Cobre Desgastado Encerado), almost hitting the Java limit.

Keeping 30 as a general threshold and breaking it only for very specific variants is what the game has done for pretty much all of its recent development. I think they're going to change most of yesterday's strings anyway, because some are comically long even for English-speaking players, so while we're at it I reported it.

These won’t most likely be resolved, or a new string will be introduced but in later future updates.

They cannot remove the .win strings because that’s used in older versions. If they did, versions up to 26.2 would show “key.keyboard.right.win” rather than “Right Meta”

Considering they have to keep the old strings, there’s no reason to add a new .meta because they should keep both .win and .meta both just to have both say “Meta”.

I’ve explained it in more details here: https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC/issues/MC-310595

Maybe it will change later in time, but translators must have some time to update their strings before they can remove them from Crowdin and, subsequently, from the game files.

Solved as of 26.3 Snapshot 7.

Solved as of 26.3 Snapshot 6.

Edit: Should be “Stack swaps” and “Stacks swap”, […]

In 25w31a, the new Shelf block has:

  • “Item placed” appears when you insert minecraft:air into (= empty) one of the slots. It should be “Item taken” or “Item removed”.

  • “Item swaps” and “Items swap” appears when multiple items from the same stack are swapped. Should be “Stack swaps” and “Stack swaps”, or just always “Items swap”.

Technically patched in 25w31a.
