Player icons on maps in item frames

If a map is placed in an item frame, the icons for players will appear, but if that player changes yaw or location, it will not update. As another small thing, as i took the screenshot, i realized that the underlines of the links to the screenshots touch the line below.

All maps in other frames will appear as stationary
green arrows on the map as well.

Maps have been changed in 1.7.2, the change invalidates this ticket.

"Maps (in an item frame) now display on a full block basis and no longer display player markers."

Then what's with the green "you are here" markers cluttering them when having other copies placed elsewhere?
Seems buggy ta me.
