Setblock output is sent even with command block output off if "setblock" is part of a run_command clause of tellraw

Output is "Block placed" when a block is placed by the "setblock" command when the /commandBlockOutput is set to false.

Cannot confirm.
Sure that you're playing b ? That was in issue in a, but fixed in b.

Type /gamerule commandBlockOutput then you'll get the current setting and retry.

Yes, I'm on b. It's on my server running b, as well.

Tried setting the game rule again and got the same result.

Can still not confirm on server & client b.

Aha! It's when you use the tellraw command!

I can't seem to get the tellraw command to work now, but I'm certain that's what it is.

Please attach the command you're using.

Confirmed in Minecraft 1.8. Same issue.

@Zi Ye: I gave you reporter tools access, that means that you can update the versions and such yourself.
@Original Reporter: If you want this ticket back and update it yourself, please leave a comment.

Is this still an issue in the current Minecraft Snapshot 15w47c or later? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.

Based on the comments this affects /tellraw messages with run_command as action for clickEvent. This means this report is invalid because in this case the player executes the command.

Use /gamerule sendCommandFeedback false
