Animals (entitys/mobs) render white wile in the fog and look strange because of it.
Can only reproduce with regular spiders and cave spiders. Other Mobs are rendered normally.
Update: Applies to both spiders and Endermen.
And End portals.
Update: Above mentioned mobs turn bright red while in lava, see MC-15770
Update: Applies to maps in frames
Is this still a concern in the latest Minecraft version 14w08a? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.
Still in 14w08a - have to set the render distance to 3 cunks to have that happen.
Confirmed for 1.7.5, 1.7.9 and 14w17a
From what i read on the wiki, it has to do with visuals that are stored in different places, if I remember correctly.
This bug should be updated to reflect that it still applies to 1.8
Confirmed for 1.9-pre1
Also totally fixed this one.
Please reopen (attached a screenshot in 1.11.2).Thiught Arisa would do that.
Seems to be fixed. https://imgur.com/a/hmfRzPJ
