Placing Acacia or Oak Roof Wood blocks in the crafting area will produce 4 Oak Wood Planks blocks, just like regular Oak Wood blocks.
I know they're probably still implementing the rest of the block types (slabs, stairs, etc.) associated with these new wood types, this is mostly to make sure they don't forget. Also, I suppose this behavior is acceptable for the Oak Roof wood, as it is another type of Oak.
Likely related to MC-36364 (Roofed Oak and Acacia Trees drop incorrect saplings) and MC-36410 (Oak Roof Wood and Acacia wood won't turn into charcoal).

Like I said, I know they're probably still working on it. Just wanted to make sure it didn't fall through the cracks somehow.
I wouldn't say this behavior is acceptable for oak roof logs because the respective tree is a complete new species. If it would be the same as normal oak wood, there's no need for separate saplings too (you could just grow roofed oaks from 4 normal oak saplings). Both acacia and roofed oak trees are new species and therefore they need their own planks, slabs and stairs to be consistent with other trees.
@Dinnerbone:
"Works as intended"? Why? Is it really such a big problem to have a separate plank type for every tree species?
Confirmed but obvious.
Also missing Acacia slabs, Stairs, etc...
