Hostile mobs in daylight

Random dark spots are appearing during daylight hours. These are dark enough for hostile mobs to spawn. Even after leaving the spot, the mob is not catching fire as usual. Approaching the spot causes it to refresh the lighting level and it disappears.

SS 1: Zombie in full daylight
SS 2: Dark spot at range in crosshair
SS 3: Same spot after being approached
SS 4: Angle to sun from spot location

These spots were supposed to be trees, but they didn't generate properly. In that case, it might be MC-15820
The Zombie could've come out of the roofed forest as it's possible to be dark enought to allow spawning other thick layer of leaves.

Is this still a concern in the latest Minecraft version 14w02c? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.
