All start with the following command :

(you can control it by left clicking in the direction you want to go)
However, this new things has pointed out many bugs concerning ridable entities :
from time to time, if the object hit a wall, Minecraft will stop render anything but the background colour (black at night, and blue at daytime)
(even options like escape will not appear and the only way to get out of this mess is to force quit the game, and come back, and only then, you will be able to see the respawn screen)In the same conditions, when you don't get this bug when hitting a wall, the fireball will explode (logical) but the minecart will move down, through all blocks, and you will die in the void...

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version 1.7.4 / Launcher version 1.3.8 or later? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.

Had an issue before... Didn't see the Slime input and I was on peacful which makes this not work.
Noticed the minecart falls through the world. If your Fireball gets destroyed then you will also fall through the world (i.e. Your under the map and now in the void). You wont die since your constantly falling in the minecart. when you get out of the minecart you die instantly (depending on how long you were falling). When you Log out and back in it puts you outside of the minecart which then kills you displaying your menu screen (based on what happened to me).
