Multiple Key Binding

In 1.7 you cannot bind multiple moves / attacks to the same key

What I expected to happen was...:
In my case, I usually bind my drop key to the number 1 across my keyboard to drop the item which I was holding when pressing 1, yet allowing me to quickly go to the first item in my hot bar.

What actually happened was...:
After setting my drop key too 1, I go too a different item and it no longer drops the previous item, this allows for a lot of players no longer being able to quickdrop and pvp in multiple ways.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Press escape to go into options then controls menu
2. Configure your players drop key to a key which is already being used ( in this test case I would use 1, to show off what I mean )
3. Go back into the game
4. Put another item in any other slot in your hot back and scroll over to it.
5. With the item in your hand, press 1 on the keyboard.
6. This will change over the the slot in your hot bar, but will no longer drop the previous item.

To compare I would go into 1.6 to repeat this and see what I mean.

( Apologies I can't add files or images, I'm on my tablet whilst writing this. )

Invalid
That is simply not possible anymore.

Why was this marked as invalid? Galaxy_2Alex said that it's "simply not possible anymore" but isn't that kind of what the bug is?

It's invalid because the change was intentional. I don't understand why Mojang would want to limit our options like this, but they did it by choice, so it's not a bug.
