[MC-46432] Fences connects to Barrier block

Why this is a bug ?

Is a invisible block, nothing should connect with it.
Glass panes and iron bars do not connect to it.

What I expected to happen was:
The fence would not connect to the barrier.

What happened was:
The fence connects to the barrier/invisible block.

Steps to reproduce:

Place a fence.
Place a barrier (minecraft:barrier).

Confirmed.
Fences and Nether brick fences connect,
Glass panes and Iron bars don't.

Also Cobblestone Walls and Mossy Cobblestone Walls connect to it.

I think the bug here is that glass panes and iron bars do not connect to it.

It's meant to be an invisible barrier; it doesn't make any sense for the fences/walls to connect to what appears to be air. I'm currently using barriers as a way to stop players from enderpearling through 1x1 gaps in a fence wall, but it's terrible aesthetically. Mojang definitely needs to see this.

You will have different ways to achieve 'connected look' without 'connections' later.

Barrier blocks are solid (I think), so it makes sense. Also, can't wait for 'connected' look so 1 fence post isn't just the post 🙂
