When spectating inside an NPC villager, the camera faces the incorrect angle. Instead of looking in the direction the villager is facing, the camera appears to face East instead. This also happens sporadically when spectating other humanoid mobs including skeletons and zombies.

Still happening for me in 14w05b. The issue is very sporadic and only affects some mobs. Also the facing is not necessarily East as I reported, but does seem to be a cardinal direction. I've spent some time testing but can't find a reason only some mobs are affected while others work fine.
Confirmed in 14w17a for squids (since MC-46679 seems to be a duplicate). Their eyes don't move with them in spectator mode.
Confirmed for 16w33a. Also, when the mob/entity you're spectating moves (on its own), then the entity's sounds stay where you began spectating and you can't hear them when it moves far enough. And if you set up a circuit to teleport the mob a few seconds after you go into spectator mode, then you will stay where you are even though the mob teleports. Also, if you go into third-person view after the mob teleports, you will see the place where the mob was standing, but no mob.
Confirmed.
