Various types of items are thrown/shot/used when closing command block minecarts GUI

If you hold a bow in your hand while right clicking on a minecart command block, the GUI will open and the bow will charge. Upon exiting, the arrow will fire, most likely shooting and destroying the minecart.

This also applies to:

  • Splash potions

  • Lingering potions

  • Eggs

  • Snowballs

  • Water buckets

  • Lava buckets

  • Ender pearl

  • Eye of ender

  • Bucket of milk

  • Botte o' enchanting

  • Fishing rod

  • Shield

You're right. Confirmed for 14w11b, and relates to MC-17016.

Confirmed for 14w34c

confirmed for 1.8.1 pre-3. Noticed it works with all thrown entities. Also, the bow didn't fire an arrow or destroy the minecart, but the snowball did.

Confirmed for 1.8.1-pre4. Not sure why it affects Command minecarts but not hopper minecarts.

Confirmed for 15w34b

As of 16w04a, I cannot confirm the Bow behavior, but Snowballs are indeed thrown after exiting the GUI.
