Weird behavior when tp entities

I've created a fill clock that tps all the Squids that have 1 block of lava below to 2 block higher, this makes the squids go straight in lava and then die as if there where no commands executed, while they should stay still in air or at least not die in lava.
If I try to tp the Squid higher in the air it starts jumping up and down, and than die
The command I use:
— execute @e[type=Squid] ~ ~ ~ detect ~ ~-1 ~ lava 0 tp @e[r=0] ~ ~2 ~

Instead of @e[r=0] try [c=1]

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases. If this has been done, we can reopen the issue.
