[MC-64361] Beacon beams are glitchy and have flicker from higher distances

Beams are OK from short distance, but after going +-30 blocks away, it's flickering and in distance about +-60 blocks it completely vanishes
ONLY FOR 14w30c!

Obviously. That's why you need to update when bugs get fixed. So the mods can resolve them.

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases. If this has been done, we can reopen the issue.
