/particle command not working for happyVillager

When changing snapshots a (before working) clock generating the happyVillager particles stoped working! I did some testing and found out that the happyVillager particle effect just doesnt work!
The clock should generate particles...but it doesnt!

1) Look up and execute this command: /particle explode ~ ~2 ~ 1 1 1 1 50
You will see explode particles above your head!
2) If you use the exact same command but replace the "explode" with "happyVillager" nothing happens! /particle happyVillager ~ ~2 ~ 1 1 1 1 50

Particles are displayed at the command source. They will appear at the command block now.
You need to use execute now.

execute @p ~ ~ ~ /particle happyVillager ~ ~ ~ 0 0 0 0

It still doesnt work... 😞

Of course it does.

/execute @p ~ ~ ~ /particle happyVillager ~ ~2 ~ 1 1 1 50

WOWOWOWW! Thanks, man!! Turns out the particles dont display because of my resource pack!!! :O

This should be resolved since the problem was identified and fixed 3 months ago.

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases. If this has been done, we can reopen the issue.

Keep in mind that the "Resolved"-Status on this ticket just means "Answered", and that we are waiting for further information on whether this issue still exists or not. We will reopen it as soon as the requested information has been delivered.

Did you read the comments Alex?

Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't.
(Well, this doesn't really resolving in my favor...)

Sorry, I should have more attention when doing things like this. 🙂
