[Duplicate] JVM Crash in ig#icd64.dll

All I try and do is attempt to open up my minecraft on this version, and it opens it and gives me this message: Could not find or load main class net.minecraft.client.main.Main

This problem also occurs in 14w34d but not 14w33c.

John, your issue is MC-14051

John Rockefeller

I don't believe that's correct. I've been able to play 1.7.5 and a few of the snapshots since. Besides, I have an Intel HD Graphics 4000 chipset, which isn't the one that bug covers.

@unknown, thanks for your note. The Java 9 crash you're describing is tracked here: MCL-6915, as it's actually a problem with the launcher.

I don't think it's necessary to rename the report, as it's closed. Will do that anyway.

@unknown Okay, thanks for the info! (btw, not that it matters anymore, but the crash described in the description is not a graphics driver crash, I think they got mixed up because they both contained the incremental CMS message. The attached crash report is not uploaded by the reporter but by someone who thought he had the same issue but he really didn't)

Well, it would be a lifetime task to clean up all the tickets which have people in the comments who think this is a support forum. Won't do that.

After all, it's unclear what the reporter actually meant. I'll leave it as it is, it hopefully leads lost people to the right place.

Minecraft works great with Intel 4000 pro but you have to turn off VBOs in
the video settings.
