Death messages don't appear when tamed Horses, Donkeys, Mules, and Llamas are killed

The Bug

Killing a tamed horse, donkey, mule or Llama will not print a death message in chat, which it should since other tamable mobs (cats/ocelots, dogs/wolves) produce death messages when tamed.

Steps to Reproduce

  • Summon a horse, donkey, mule, or llama and tame it.

  • Kill the horse/donkey/mule/llama.

  • Take note as to whether or not death messages are shown when tamed horses, donkeys, mules, or llamas are killed.

Observed Behavior

Death messages aren't shown when tamed horses, donkeys, mules, or llamas are killed.

Expected Behavior

Death messages would be shown when tamed horses, donkeys, mules, or llamas are killed.

On bedrock edition you actually do get a death message when a horse dies this is sent to all players in the world. Since version 1.9 it is no longer necessary to rename dogs, cats and parrots with a nametag to get death messages, so Horses, Donkeys, Mules, and Llamas also shouldn’t require a name tag to get a death message.
