Nether Portal exit brings me to wrong location

Ok first off, this bug might be "seed" specific, this is the only seed I've encountered this bug on so far.

Seed "-4294155304399390074"
Survival, Cheats on, Structures on, default world type.

You will begin near XYZ -264 / 68 / 229

I set up my base camp in this area and I had created my nether portal in this general area. When you enter, it will put you right next to a nether fortress. Mine put me right on top of it actually. Anyways I felt lucky to be so close to a fortress without having to hunt for it. However, when I got what I needed and left, the portal took me back to the main world and I was lost. It took me back to coordinates XYZ -284 / 73 / 61 (general area). This was the first time this has ever happened to me. Curious, I created another world with the same seed and went to the area to see if perhaps a portal had already existed for some odd reason. But there was nothing there. Any idea why this is happening or how to fix it so the portal brings me back to the one I created instead of this unusual one about 160 blocks off on the Z coordinate. Luckily it's still somewhat close so it's not a huge inconvenience.

Cannot confirm, see screenshots.

You might have already created a different portal, so you get teleported to that one...

I've recorded a video doing exactly as I explained, however it is 30MB in size, is there anyone I can send it to, to help verify and show the issue?

Scratch that, I managed to upload it to youtube. Here is link http://youtube/RFCAABzIdY8

Sorry, not sure why I had to have the period in the middle. I don't usually upload videos. This link should work better. http://youtu.be/RFCAABzIdY8

I am a having the exact same problem but on the Xbox One. I create a brand-new portal, go to the nether, and end up somewhere completely different when coming back to the overworld. There are no other portals built on the overworld other than the original one.

Here is my seed: -7492801512473941435
Survival mode, medium-sized world

Additionally, when I break down the new portal on the overworld, I receive more obsidian as if I built it in addition to the original; the original remains intact when the newly created portal is broken down.

When I go back to my original portal (which is the only one, again), and use it to go to back to the nether, I arrive in another location other than the original but different than the first anomaly. When repeated, the portals are always in different locations when arriving back to the overworld.

Should I post this separately since it's on a different platform than the original post?

Portals have been acting a bit inconsistently for me throughout the 1.8.x updates. I suspect there's something odd going on in the way it looks for available portals, because from time to time valid portals are simply ignored. Three examples:

I've had the same problem as the Marty--make a new portal, travel through it, then come back to the overworld into a new portal generated some distance from the starting one (despite it clearly being close enough to link to the first time through).

Once I entered a portal, somehow skipped past the nearby portals, and found myself deposited at a portal a long distance away.

On a couple of occasions, I've been traveling my usual route through old portals, and had it suddenly build a new portal in between the old ones. On destruction of that new portal, the old ones once again 'linked' together and functioned as they always had...well, until the bug showed up again, anyway.

Is this still an issue in 15w38b for a new world ?

Ticket resolved as incomplete, because no answer in a reasonable amount of time (1+ year), if it still happens, please update the ticket.
