Comparator doesn't respond the execute command

I wrote a command with the fastest redstone_clock "execute @p[name=Whatever] ~ ~ ~ kill @e[type=Arrow,r=2]" and i connected it with an comparator to another command "say Hi"

So what it means is, whenever an arrow is coming straight to me, it will dissappear, and then "Hi" will show up in the chat. But I didn't see any "Hi" in the chat, and I did'nt see the comparator blinks. So, is this a bug or what? I feel confused.

Please attach a screenshot of your setup, and indicate at what speed your clock ticks.

Speed of your clock matters, your Minecraft username must be 'Whatever', exactly the same and your redstone clock must now be too fast!

So my clock is running with fill command, which I found is the fastest clock ever. And I just tested it with another testfor command, and that one did actually work, the comparator did get the signal from the testfor command.

BTW, when are you guys going to fix this issue?

it kills the arrow, outputs success then fails as there is no arrow, before the comperator can respond, you need a slower clock

Is this still an issue in the current Minecraft Snapshot 15w49b or later? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.

This ticket is invalid; the comparator block needs more than 1 game tick of delay (as redstone ticks every other game tick) before outputting a signal. The clock being used is too fast.
