Invisibility potion: Spider Jockey remains visible

I was messing around with the new Invisibility Potions and then I saw a Spider Jockey and threw a potion at it, just to know what it looks like. ❓

So the spider got invisible but not the Skeleton as you can see in the picture below

No, I don't think so.
the other post shows that the eyes of the mobs are still visible (and sheep's wool)
Here I think the skeleton should be invisible but it's not!

Sorry if my English is bad. I'm form Germany.

I agree, it's not duplicate.

Maybe spider was a bit closer to the potion than skelly, so that spider was partially inside the splash radius, but skelly was outside of it?

No, it wasn't! I threw the potion directly at the skeleton (multiple times) but it didn't get invisible.
That's why I posted it here, lol.

Ok, I'll try to replicate it.

Yes, of course it's a bug. I just thought that mentioning that will make it easier for mojang to fix it.

Ok, thanks for your "help?"
I hope Mojang fixes this

Ok, this is the bug: when any entity is riding another entity, the potion effects do not always work properly.
When riding a pig and someone throws a speed potion at both the pig and the player, the pig does not get the effect, the player does get a FOV boost though.

Relates to MC-67. The fact that the two entities are joined and yet two separate entities causes this bug.

Resolving as Duplicate of MC-333.
