Chickens are Invisible

This also occurs on Mac OS X, with Java 8u60, it seems to be only chickens added before updating to the latest version.

Is this still an issue in 15w44b? If so, please explain the issue in detail and provide steps to reproduce it. Please also force a crash by holding F3+C for 10 seconds and attach the resulting crash report here.
