Drawn bow texture does not reflect arrow that will be shot

When a bow is pulled back, the normal arrow is in the bow instead of the arrow being used.

WAI. The bow always goes the for the arrow on the leftmost side of the hotbar / inventory. Putting the arrow in the left hand slot will overwrite it.

I don't think that is what the reporter means. I think hes saying, if you use a poison arrow, the bow displays the normal arrow instead of the tipped one.

EDIT: I attached a screenshot.

Given that crossbows can distinguish arrows and fireworks, can this ticket be looked at again?

That only requires two textures, one for arrows, one for fireworks. It would require way too many extra textures to be created if one was made for every type of tipped arrow. Fireworks and arrows are very different items, so a separate texture for each makes sense. A crossbow also leaves the arrow or firework loaded in the crossbow, so it makes a little more sense that you would be able to see what you loaded into it. With a bow, the arrow doesn't get stored in the bow. If you forget which arrow has been loaded in the bow, just switch to a different hotbar slot (to cancel shooting the bow) and look for an arrow (by opening your inventory) in your offhand slot or near slot 0. You can't do that with a crossbow, because the position of the arrows or fireworks in your inventory may have changed since you loaded the crossbow.

Actually only 2 more: non-colored and colored layers, just like the actual tipped arrow texture.
