Confirmed, but don't you expect trains to go crazy when they are colliding into each other?
Started with 5 in the middle, 1 on the outside and was able to get all 6 on the outside.
So its not a bug? there switching tracks. after a while the booster just lets a few minecarts on to the other track.

i didn't count but I think so. sometimes they switch faster than other times. also, if you break an outside rail block they all leave the middle and do the other bug where it propels itself on ground (without the rail).

I mean that I also get that. Sometimes the outer cart just continues over the broken track.

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version 1.8.1 Prerelease 3 / Launcher version 1.5.3 or later? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.

Confirmed in 1.15.2 and 20w21a.
Affects 1.16 Release Candidate 1, but is only a visual glitch.
I think that this is duplicated by MC-158169, however it has additional scenarios in which this bug occours.
