They changed the hitbix depending on blockstate for redstone wire, so this should be the same fix

This definitely works as intended, it's done so that you can more easily built rows of tripwire, right?

Well, the hight of the hitbox shouldn't change in my opinion, they can also make it behave the same as redstone currently has, etc.
