Returning to Squid Coast/Tutorial when dying during a Soul Storm

While trying to do the “Infinite Soul Storms Redos” bug to report here (I just reported it before this), I died in two separate occasions fighting a Stone Generator, and in both instances, when using the teleporting statue, I instead teleported to Squid Coast than the Region I was fighting the Stone Generators/Soul Storm

Extra Information:
- The game temporarily removed my map until I went to the end, in which case instead of triggering a cutscene, a portal was opened
- I was not able to check what rejoining would do
- The game still had subtitles and guide trails as if it was the actual tutorial
- I retained all of my actual progress

Observed Result:
- Teleported back to Squid Coast/Tutorial after respawning using the teleporting statue after dying to a Stone Generator

Expected Result
- Teleporting back to the Soul Storm location after respawning using the teleporting statue
