So when I try to launch Minecraft it says I am "missing" the Java Runtime folder in which I can not find which means it's true. How do I fix this? Do I create a new java runtime folder? Do I look for the old one that is apparently "missing?"
I tried many solutions such as, restarting my computer, launching Minecraft with no tabs, applications open, I tried looking it up, yet people RARELY get this certain Error.

Yet in the "Installations" tab I have 5 random installations two are just Latest Release, one is <unnamed Installation>, and one is Latest Snapshot.
Which one are you starting? If you click on that one, and then expand the More Options, what does it say under Java Executable?
I am starting Latest Release the "normal" or original one I should say. And it says under Java executable, "Use bundled Java runtime."
I was having the same issue. I went into the options.txt and saw that some of the resource packs were showing "not compatible". I deleted the files, restarted the computer, and it is up and running again.Â
Do you have any custom settings for the java runtime on your installation?
