Game stuck on "making things awesome" screen

Same here. Second day with the very same screen. Doesn't look too awesome...

• Freshly downloaded Java version installer,

• Edition Windows 11 Home

• Version 21H2

• OS build 22000.318

• Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22000.318.0

Few additional questions:

• Is your Windows up to date?

• Are you sign-in to MS Store and updated all Microsoft Store applications (Xbox App, Gaming Services, Microsoft Store, Xbox Console Companion etc.) in library by clicking “Get updates” and then update all?

This is still an issue for many people. I'm stuck at this stage in the store:

How many hours should I wait? Everything else is up-to date, including Windows 11 itself and all the other apps in the store (xbox etc)

Finally, it would be really nice if Microsoft would stop gaslighting people and admit that this launcher just doesn't work.

Fix is coming soon; it is not yet fixed. This is being actively worked on. 

Fix was pushed out last Friday; it should no longer be happening where this is stuck forever.
