So after latest update, either 09/16 or 09/17 I lost at least a third of my craftabes and it kicks me out after about 5 minutes. I hope this helps.
Adding your experience to this report:
Crashes on most platforms are reported automatically via a back channel to Mojang and don't need a bug report, so if you're crashing after a few minutes of play and it's not connected to consistently doing at the time it crashes, you don't need to add your info here. Just be patient; Mojang already know all about it.
If your game freezes for a while but eventually crashes, I'd suggest letting it go to crash and not commenting. Letting it go means that Mojang will get more crash reports, which will help increase its priority for a fix.
If your gate freezes but doesn't crash, that could be happening for a different reason so we need your info. Please comment, telling us about your device, what kind of play session it was (single- or multiplayer), and any other information you think might be helpful.

I have a similar issue, possibly related to opening a double chest (but that could just be coincidental). After 5 to 10 minutes of play, I get a solid red screen briefly and then the app terminates; I assume it crashes.
Does this sounds like what others are seeing?
For me, I am experiencing it doing any tasks. I don't see a red screen however it just freezes and I have to exit the app and restart.
I have experienced this in Survival when I access my inventory, but it only occurs about 20-30 min into gameplay. I only notices that it crashes when the screen freezes and the sound stops coming out. Compared to the others it's not as bad, but I'm still grateful for the autosave.
Same here, my game keeps crashing in irregular intervals (mostly 5 to 15 minutes, often when a mob is involved)
