I am unable to enter my realm on both the WiFi or the cellular data on my IOS device. Issue did not occur until the 1.16.50 hot fix was released. I cannot play on realms at all.

I am not able to reproduce this connecting to a realm via iPad.
Are you still experiencing this issue? If so, have you tried logging out of your account and back in?
