When trying to connect an iPad with version 1.16.50 to a world that is loaded on PC with version 1.16.40, the iPad is unable to connect to the world.
Both are logged in via Microsoft Account.
The same iPad was able to connect to world before it updated to 1.16.50.
Trying the same thing on iPad with 1.16.40 connects with no issue.

Are you able to access the marketplace/realms/servers on the iOS device (MCPE-102994)?

Yes. IOS and PC fine independently

We think this issue could be related to a new iOS 14 privacy setting for Local Network access. If you go to your settings app and select "Minecraft" from the list of apps, you should see a screen like this:

Make sure that the toggle for "Local Network" is on.
Please let us know if this resolves the issue.

Confirmed. Thank you.

Resolving ticket as Awaiting Response. It will reopen if/when the original poster responds.
@Z SOL: There is no need to respond if the local network access setting has fixed the issue for you.
