I tried the usual steps (resetting my internet, reinstalling minecraft, rebooting my laptop etc)and ironically 3 of my friends have the same problem. Before 1.16.40, it was fine. Marketplace, worlds are all fine and also i can join friends' worlds and they can join mine. So this has to be a bug. And also this is my first time posting so idk if this is the right way.

Yes it is! Many people are encountering this issue on all platforms, even though this is only supposed to currently effect PlayStation4 players.

Yes it is. PS4 players are encountering this issue but that is known. However, it affects all platforms including Windows 10. I think the exception is Java mainly because the server system is different and I don't play on Java.
