When you go back to survival on a different map even , it is likely that achievements will not be working. Start a survival game new ,and do an easy achievement like make a sign. Lots of people are having trouble with this feature especially on win 10 systems.

I have played a survival game, started a create and gone back to survival and can still unlock achievements (win 10 PC). As soon as the world has been tampered with it is banned from achievements.

What does tampered with mean? I've started a new world 4 times after not getting achievements and tried the make a sign achievement and it still will not pop. I don't really understand tampered with.

If the game has been switched to creative you will no longer get achievements for that world. Other worlds and new survival ones should be OK.
I don't know if changing difficulty settings will do this as well. I find it a little irritating that it sticks for your game and not world.

I even made a zip-file of a world, changed it to creative, flew around and changed stuff, renamed it and restored the original world from zip and still get new achievements. So it should be in the world save and not the game.

Ok that makes sense. I only clicked on the creative button and then it told me no achievements so i immediately clicked back to survival ( I did not load into the game in creative mode.) And now get no achievements on that world. So something there is surely broken. To add to that, it completely wiped my personal inventory by just clicking on creative button on word settings screen. I did create a new world and get an achievement, which really works my nerves since I had 50+ hours into the world that has wrongly denied me achievements. Thanks for the info. It's nice to know copying the world save file didn't count as tampering since I thought that might have been the problem.

Daniel: Have you tried to move your other saves temporarily and then check that difficulty is set and that you have a survival map? Are you running on a windows 10 device?

I have one world. It's a survival world set to the highest difficulty. And when I play, achievements are not tracked. For example, I baked 20 breads already, but haven't gotten the bread achievement.

Daniel: Ok, so have this world ever been a creative world? If you do not have the "Bake Bread" achievement, start a new world and grow wheat for the bread and you should get the achievement if you don't ever set the world to creative

David, I created a new world in survival mode and tried to the the "Pork Chop" achievement ("Cook and eat a pork chop"). It was not unlocked. Last time I unlocked an achievement on 19th August.

Yes and yes. However, I just noticed that I cannot open the achievements withing Minecraft. I always directly checked in the Xbox app. The error message is not in english but roughly translates to "Error occured during loading of this part 😞".

Alright, so I reinstalled Windows 10 RTM, as I was on Insider Build 10547 before. It is working now.

Confirmed for Windows 10 Edition v0.12.3 (on a PC). The achievement "Adventuring Time" is stuck at 41%, and achievements like "Bake Bread" won't register. Hmmm...

There does seem to be a problem with the Achievement "Camouflage - Kill a mob while wearing the same type of mob head." I have tried to achieve this several times by killing Wither Skeletons whilst wearing a Wither Skeleton mob head, but cannot unlock this one.

Tested on a Survival Only map, which allows me to unlock other achievements,

I have the beta edition for windows 10, and I have never got any achievement. The xbox app dont count the defeated monsters, it just show how many time I stay playing. I see my gamertag in the app and in the game, I can see the game stats (not so much) in the app, but the game doesn't show any achievement.

I have full 0.15.0 I have never been in creative, I have changed difficulty, and have done multiplayer. The Map room one will not unlock and I don't know about others. Can this be fixed? Does difficulty count as tampering?

Mine have stopped unlocking too. In realms, survival mode - the only world I have used since the update. They were unlocking fine then stopped a couple of days ago. E.g. Made a cake, nothing. Made an iron golem, nothing. Using iPad 2, logged in with my Xbox account.

Notchmath what didnyou do to get it working? Ive had no problems getting lots of other achievements but Map Room so far is the only one that is broken. I waited 10 minutes (thats 4 minutes over the record time it took for an achievement to register) and still nothing. I have built a perfect 3x3 map. Plz do explain

Achievements are not working on my PE 15.3 Android Samsung tablet. The first three did, but then stopped. Please fix!

Connfirmed for Samsung galaxy tab 4 for a long time.

Confirmed for 0.15.4, iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. Neither me or my friend could unlock the Diamonds to You achievement, and I couldn't unlock the Smelt Everything achievement. Please fix this xP

I have an iPhone 6 Plus running the latest iOS and latest version of MCPE. Achievements were working until 8/3/2016. Since then I baked a cake, crafted and placed a flower pot, ate a cooked porkchop, and a few other ones and did not receive the achievement for them 😞

Looks like an on and off issue - at the moment what we can observe is that on IOS devices achievements do not unlock properly, and on Android devices they sometimes work.
We are currently fixing this issue and hopefully it will be working in the next major update.
However, sadly, I can not provide any solid dates.

Just so people know if you ever put your world into creative then back to survival you will not get any achievements. I didnt know this is got got lost in the nether on my realm and put it in creative to find my way back and achievements stopped. I was so sad. Had to restart my realm. I like working toward achievements. Just thought I'd let you know because I never knew this.

For those with the issue I have been able to unlock achievements again but logging out and logging back in to my Xbox account from the main menu. Try that and see if that helps.

I tried the tip from Kyle Miller, by going to Options > Sign Out, and then Sign in, and it did allow me to start getting the achievements. So this does reset something re-enabling the possibility to get the achievements.

My achievementhave started to work again they are slightly delayed and I don't actually get the M$ notification but if I check in game I can see they are there. Thank you.

I have also had this issue with "Camouflage" on MCWIN10 0.16.2 so far that is the only achievement that's not working.

I'm playing on Win10 v1.0 on a Realm and achievements don't appear to be working at all. Haven't tried yet to sign in and out, but I'll do that real quick anyways to see if that helps.

Edit: Okay, did nothing. Although my friend also on Win10 v1.0 was able to get some achievements, but they don't pop up or anything and they are very delayed. This really needs to be fixed because they're being extremely inconsistent as to even working at all.

Perhaps a few achievements are a bit buggy (or overall buggy for Multiplayer).

Having trouble unlocking Shulker Achievement, it's going very slowly up in percentages, have been levitated over 100 times now defintely over 50 blocks but still not achievement. It's getting very frustrating. For Minecraft Windows 10.

• Delete all worlds and start again

• Uninstalled and reinstalled Minecraft Windows 10

I am on pe version 1.0.4 and i still dont get any achievement unlocked. Time played on updated though.

Has this been closed? If so I have an update to it. Since 1.2.0.11 I haven't been able to look at my achievements in game but can look at them in the Xbox app.
