Unaborbable xp orbs that float on water can prevent you from riptiding out of it!
Steps to Reproduce:
kill some mobs on an ocean until you get the famous unabsorbed xp orbs
give yourself a trident with the ripide enchantment
try to propel yourself out of the water
Observed Results:
Most of the times the xp orbs will get on the way and you will be stopped by them, basically trapping you underwater.
Expected Results:
xp orbs' hitbox shouldn't keep you from using a trident to be propeled (or potentially other things). (Most important, xp orbs should be absorbed instantly: MCPE-11181)

Could you attach a video? I do not understand how the unabsorbable "ghost" xp orbs could stop the player; I thought the entity collision gets calculated on the invisible server-side orb.
