When underwater, transparent full blocks (glass in this case) have the flowing water texture against them. A bug recently fixed on the PC version (MC-35790), this should also be fixed on the pocket edition.
Similarly, a water flowing graphic appears when viewing water from the other side of glass: MCPE-11140

The texture has certaintly been removed, but the glass texture is unneccesarily dark.

Unnecessary darkness still happening in 1.0.1

@unknown: The darkness of the water is part of MCPE's water texturing & shading, and is not part of this bug report. In fact, I think the darkness might be intended.

Bug or not, it looks weird and should be changed.

@unknown, you can change it with a resource pack using shaders if you want to, but anyway this is a bugtracker, not a suggestions forum. https://feedback.minecraft.net and/or https://reddit.com/r/minecraftsuggestions/ is where suggestions should be posted.

Flowing texture seems to be back in 1.2.9. The attached screenshots are also affected by MCPE-24057.

Confirmed regression. If I had to guess, I'd say this bug was reintroduced by the rendering changes in 1.2 to allow for stained glass to render properly.

Fixed in 1.4, now displays a still water animation instead of how Java displays a pure colour.
